FAQs

Here you can find details on participation, project scope, and accessing the challenge brief.

Any current or recently graduated student (graduated in the last 12 months) in the field of design.

We are looking for design expressions of solutions and tools with broad impact potential, addressing current, concrete challenges. The projects do not need to be fully developed for immediate implementation—they can be presented as a concept. However, highly speculative futuristic projects may be less suitable for the competition, as it focuses on human-centred design processes and encourages active engagement with stakeholders in the field.

By registering your interest, you will receive the briefs in your email. You can register the interest by accessing this page and click on “download brief” on “Register your interest now!”. Please bear in mind that you are not registering for the Student Design Challenge, this is just a manifestation of your interest. Official registrations open on February 24th.
