Since its establishment in 1906, the Bezalel Academy is recognized as Israel’s preeminent academic institution for art, design and architecture, pioneering originality, creativity and innovation. It encourages its students and faculty to embrace interdisciplinarity and humanistic approaches by furthering tolerance and promoting freedom of expression that creatively expands cultural horizons and impacts conventional beliefs. The Bezalel Academy in the 21st century wishes to influence, in both the local and global spheres, by initiating and participating in international collaborations in research, workshops, and conferences while addressing the socio-economic challenges of sustainability.
